The Rabbi spoke to his congregation asking them to go with him to help Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم. His tribe’s men declined because it was the day of the Sabbath.

Despite belonging to a different faith and facing opposition from his own tribe, Rabbi Mukhayriq pledged to assist Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم. Mukhayriq announced to his people that if he died in the battle his wealth should go to Muhammed to be distributed as charity. Rabbi Mukhayriq wholeheartedly aligned himself with the cause of justice and righteousness, demonstrating the power of unity and cooperation.

The First Jewish Martyr of Islam
Tragically, Rabbi Mukhayriq was martyred during this battle, leaving a profound legacy of bravery and solidarity. Rabbi Mukhayriq was the first Jewish martyr of Islam. Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم inherited significant wealth from Rabbi Mukhayriq, including date palm gardens, agricultural land, gardens, and orchards, symbolizing his commitment to sustainable prosperity which the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلمutilized for
charitable purposes.
